Historic town house in Artà

On the edge of the picturesque town center of Artà, this typical town house is located in a quiet residential street – just a few meters from the Sant Antoní de Padua church.

It is a “casa antigua”, which was built in 1890 and still retains much of its original charm.

From the street, a typical vestibule leads into the spacious entrance area of the house, which is immediately followed on the left by the living room with a window overlooking the street.

The entrance hall leads to the dining area. From here you have access to the modern kitchen with window to the patio. A staircase leads from the dining area to the upper floor, where there are 2 bedrooms. The exposed wooden ceiling beams create a cozy atmosphere.

The bathroom and laundry room are accessed via the picturesque inner courtyard. A historic stone staircase leads up to the roof terrace, part of which has been converted and can therefore be used perfectly as office space.

The previous owners used the house as their main residence until recently and have already replaced the old windows with new Climalit windows and shutters.

This charming house has history and with a few creative ideas can be transformed into a real gem in the heart of Artà.
