The finca “Maria de Mendia”, which is traditionally built in quarry stone and yet has extremely modern furnishings, is a particularly family-friendly house – not only because of its size and beautiful furnishings, but also because it can be used all year round. Surrounded by numerous trees, the 2-storey villa is located on a beautifully situated plot in a wonderful natural and secluded location. The beautiful view over the rolling hills to the sea, which characterize the eastern island landscape, can be enjoyed from the covered and open terraces. Furthermore, 12 cars have an outside parking space and the possibility for a spacious carport or a large garage for min. 4 cars is given.

The modern finca has a beautifully designed outdoor area. The spacious pool with its round, stepped entrance is located slightly below the house and is surrounded by a wonderful sun terrace with brick pillar railings. This offers enough space for a spacious lounge and sun loungers. There is also an outdoor shower right by the pool. From the pool terrace, steps lead up to the terrace area surrounding the house and the part of the veranda that is covered thanks to the balconies on the 1st floor. There is space for a very large dining table and a chill-out area. In addition, awnings can also shade large parts of the patio. An inviting house where both tranquillity and lavish parties can be combined.

You can enter the interior of the house via the many floor-to-ceiling patio doors from the pool or terrace side. A spacious kitchen is located right next to the main entrance and the curved window elements give the room plenty of character and brightness. The fully equipped fitted kitchen has numerous cupboards and a counter with additional storage space. The kitchen and living area feature a large stone arch that emphasizes the Mediterranean style. The living area with floor tiles in natural tones has enough space for a large sofa area. The living room could also be extended to accommodate additional seating. The built-in wood-burning stove ensures a cozy atmosphere. The bedrooms are all generously proportioned and some have en-suite bathrooms. All rooms have air conditioning and heating pipes have been pre-installed throughout the house. From the south-facing bedrooms on the upper floor, you can access the large balcony, where you can enjoy the sunset with a glass of Mallorcan red wine, the silence and the view of nature. There are currently a total of 4 bathrooms, some with corner bath or shower, whereby 2 bathrooms are en-suite and the others can be converted into en-suite bathrooms.

Overall, the finca “Maria de Mendia” is an absolutely harmonious finca that blends into its surroundings and still offers great potential. In addition to the wonderfully quiet and private natural location, there is the possibility of shopping and excursions in a very short time in Manacor or Porto Cristo. There is also another house for rent in the immediate vicinity if more space is required. The nearest beaches can be reached in approx. 10-15 minutes, such as the picturesque coastal town of Porto Cristo with its sweeping harbor and beach bay, above which there is a small promenade with stores, cafés, bars and restaurants. Numerous sights such as the “Coves del Dracs” stalactite caves can also be admired here. This area on the eastern coast is particularly popular and known for its many small and large bays known as “calas”. These are often compared to a string of pearls because they line up like pearls along the coast. The beaches on the eastern section of the coast, such as Cala Varquez, Cala Estany or Cala Mendia, all have a very different character – discover them for yourself. But these beaches have one thing in common: very good water quality, turquoise water, sometimes “rousing” waves, so that you are very happy to throw yourself into the water. This is a great place to live!
